Gretchen Jessup

Hey it's me, Gretchen Jessup (she/her). I'm a passionate Singer, Actress, Creative and Enjoyer of a good car ride. I am well known among my friends for daydreaming or crafting a solid spotify playlist. My greatest influences, Anita Baker, Durand Bernarr, Lucky Daye and Destiny’s Child taught me music is meant to be felt, not just heard. My formative years were spent in Buffalo, New York: The City of Good Neighbors. From my earliest memories I can trace back the importance of being surrounded by a strong sense of community. Whether it was with my three younger siblings, Summer Camp, or music class; I knew the world was my home. As a Performer, I strive to tell stories that bring dignity and adoration to the experience of being a human. Our fast-paced world deserves artists who can laugh, and cry and shout with their audiences. My goal is to create work that welcomes even the most unexpected crowds.
